– VisualOn Inc., a leading provider of software-based mobile multimedia solutions and SKNET Corporation Ltd., a leader in mobile television for PC, cellular, Wi-Fi and broadband enabled devices, today announced an agreement to deliver a mobile television solution to the ISDB-T market in Japan.  The solution will enable customers in Japan to watch TV programming from wherever they are by turning their mobile computers into mobile televisions.

The combined solution supports Japanese ISDB-T mobile TV broadcasts, which include national news, sports, entertainment and full-length music videos from top Japanese artists. The combined solution helps enhance one of the world’s most successful Mobile TV deployments by linking individual laptop computers to the ISDB-T broadcast network.  The combination of SKNET_ISDB-T 1 segment Mobile TV_CardBus.USB, EXpresss card series and VisualOn’s Media Player Plus, which includes the capability to playback H.264 live TVcontent with software codecs, has established a level of video and audio quality not available on other mobile TV solutions.
