VisualOn, Inc. and ENENSYS Technologies partner to bring the HDTV like quality to DVB-H

- As more and more consumers adopt mobile TV handsets and services, the demand for better picture quality continues to increase. ENENSYS Technologies and VisualOn have worked together to enable the highest quality Mobile TV viewing experience yet available on handsets.

By working together to ensure VisualOn’s DVB-H Mobile TV client solution work flawlessly with ENENSYS DVB-H broadcast system for Mobile TV, the two companies have enabled H.264 broadcast content with AAC+ audio to be played back on handsets at quality levels that were not viable on mobile devices until now.

The VisualOn’s software Mobile TV solution will parses IP stream from the DVB-H receiver, decodes and playbacks on-the-fly the audio and video data on the mobile devices, while the DVB-H transmission architecture is based on ENENSYS products, including DVB-H IP Encapsulator, SFN Adapter and DVB-H Modulator.
