VisualOn and ATP partner to address the needs of Hollywood; High Quality movies on secure SD Cards

 VisualOn Inc., a leading provider of mobile multimedia solutions and ATP Electronics® Inc., an industry leading manufacturer of flash media storage products, announced the two companies will collaborate to enable a solution the entertainment industry has been anticipating, high quality movies playing on secure SD Cards.

ATP will embed VisualOn’s Media Player technology with ATP’s Smart n’ Secure (SnS) secure flash cards.  The combined solution will allow for very high quality playback of H.264 video and AAC audio at 30fps, with security.  The content of the SD Card can not be copied and played on any other media. VisualOn’s unique patent-pending technology is targeted for mobile devices and is highly optimized for performance and power efficiency.
