          In this context, we are looking for an Application Engineer for our EMEA team.<\/p>\n

          Job description<\/strong><\/p>\n

          As an application engineer, you will be in daily contact with the customers in EMEA for pre-sales and post-sales activities to support customers\u2019 deployments based on VisualOn\u2019s solution.<\/p>\n

          You will be the key interface for projects between our customers, our partners, the sales team and the customer support team.<\/p>\n

          The Application Engineer is expected to respond to technical issues and questions reported by our customers and\/or their development partners as soon as possible.<\/p>\n

          Pre-sales :<\/p>\n

            \n
          • qualifying customers\u2019 needs<\/li>\n
          • working with R&D to check the adequacy of the SDK to the needs<\/li>\n
          • on site and remote communication with the customers to highlight VisualOn\u2019s offer<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

            Post-sales :<\/p>\n

              \n
            • testing and delivering the SDKs to the customers<\/li>\n
            • helping customers with the SDK integration (implementation guidance, best practices)<\/li>\n
            • answering customers questions and issues, with daily interaction with the R&D team<\/li>\n
            • on-site support as necessary<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

              You will also be involved in the major tradeshows in EMEA (IBC, TV Connect, \u2026) to demo our offer.<\/p>\n

              After your initial training cursus, you will quickly be involved in field support as a full member of the team. Our key words are dedication and reactivity, for our customers\u2019 best satisfaction.<\/p>\n

              Required skills<\/strong><\/p>\n

              General:<\/strong><\/p>\n

              Proficient in English, both orally and written, Additional language(s) a plus.<\/p>\n

              Experience in international, multi-location virtualized environment.<\/p>\n

              Flexibility in working hours and travels (including last-minute on-site travel in case of necessity).<\/p>\n

              Well-organized problem-solving capability and communication skills.<\/p>\n

              Proactive, creative and a team player.<\/p>\n

              Technical:<\/strong><\/p>\n

              Degree in CS, EE, Physics or Mathematics<\/p>\n

              Java, Java Script, C\/C++ programming ability.<\/p>\n

              Application engineering experience.<\/p>\n

              Familiar with video streaming frameworks and DRM integration.<\/p>\n

              Familiar with Embedded system development.<\/p>\n

              Familiar with Android, iOS, Windows, MacOS Operating Systems<\/p>\n

              Software debugging capability and troubleshooting experience<\/p>\n

              Experience in the following areas is a plus:<\/p>\n

              • DRM<\/li>\n
              • Streaming Protocols<\/li>\n
              • Video\/Audio Codecs<\/li>\n
              • DVB, MPEG Standards<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                Dev in Java \/ Android Studio; Objective C and C \/ XCode ; Javascript<\/p>\n

                Set Top Box application design and dev is a plus.<\/p>\n<\/div>
